Was driving West on I-20 a couple of years ago when a small plane laded on the Eastbound lanes. He had enough time to call someone because the cops had Eastbound traffic stopped over the next hill.

Flying one of those over I-10 from Pensacola to Jax would sure make that boring arse trip much shorter .

There is some audio out there where she declared an emergency and was explaining to ATC what was happening. Strong oil smell, smoke in the cockpit and then the engine failed. If you pay attention in the video, the prop isn’t turning. She didn’t risk trying to pull up and go over the sign, which in my opinion was the correct decision. That young lady was cool as a cucumber on the radio, told them she couldn’t make it back and was lined up with I10. Hoover nor Steeeve could have handled that situation better. I’d fly with her anytime.
