Ovaries and brains rarely cohabitate. Studies prove this to be true approximately 95% of the time.
I can easily remember when JFK was running against Nixon for the Presidency and women at the time were basing their vote on how good looking Kennedy was compared to Nixon. I shite you not.
It didn't matter what his platform was and what he was bringing to the table just as long as he was handsome.

I remember when Roller Derby came on TV. It was a blast to watch when I was a kid. It was nothing more than WWE on wheels, but fun none the less.
WWE on wheels
Anybody remember the San Francisco Bay Bombers, big, nasty Charlie O'Connell and Dynamite Mike Gammon?

LOL! Actually there's an interview posted in YT where George himself mentioned that. I'll paraphrase it, but he states how did my teen fans miss it back then? I mean the shower curtain earrings, the short shorts and the hands on my shoulders..

Joanie Weston, the Blonde Bomber was a big ol’ gal.

I think it’s a woman thing to ignore this type of thing. My wife is Gen X. And like most Gen X, girls she had the hots for George Michael when he first got popular in the mid-80s, as part of the duo “Wham”. I’ve made fun of her for years for seeing the video for “”Wake Me Up before you Go-Go” and not immediately seeing he was a flaming pole smoker..
Same here. I remember exactly where when I first saw that video. I was in the 7th grade at my grandparents house in September of 1984. My first thoughts was "what a queer". My second thought was"he sings pretty good though". He tried to change his image in 1987, for Faith, and he might've fooled some of the teenage girls, but not the teenage boys. He could lay naked in bed with the Asian chick he claimed was his girlfriend and sing "I Want Your Sex" all he wanted, but we all knew he liked the pole. I mean if you didn't catch his gayness in the Wake Me Up video surely you did in the Monkey video when he was running across the stage. All that said I liked George Michael's music, and he is an 80's icon.

Edwin Edwards stole the hearts of many LA women to land in the governor's mansion.

Then he just stole.

Remember the movie "Billie" where she was supposed to be a really fast runner?
