I was referring to the genus of decapod crustaceans in the family Hippidae. But whatever...

Very touching picture. I hope he will have use of his arm after his recovery.

What were the extent of his injuries? It seems like he was in the hospital for a long for being shot in the arm. Is he the one that was critical?

No, that is another officer who's wife said publicly was shot in the chest and head and had to have surgery on both to remove bullets/fragments.

Bolded publicly so people don't assume its another "HIPPA" violation

Stop. No.

The patient isn't even in the pictures I posted and he told ME I committed a HIPAA violation. It's just a hospital hallway.
I'm afraid I've fricked up the thread, my apologies. I was just messing with you making a silly joke. Its a great pic and I couldn't care less if its a violation or not, which I'm sure it is not.

He wasn't in critical condition, but I think his arm required multiple surgeries. They had to reconstruct most of his upper arm.

I think it shattered his arm, probably had surgery.

*****Disclaimer***** I do not work in the hospital, nor do I have any inside information.

The officer shot in the arm was released from Baton Rouge General and is currently at OLOL visiting the officer in critical condition, Nick Tullier. Avoid Essen Lane because I've been told that it is/was shut down completely

Pretty sure they said in the press conference Monday his arm was shattered, had to place a steel rod in there, multiple surgeries involved.

Glad to see he is being released.
