Have you seen fling golf? Don’t hit the ball but “fling” with a club that looks like a golf club but the head is more like a lacrosse stick

All my South American colleagues play the frick out of padel. They have leagues in Houston for it.

Padel has been around since the late 60’s. It’s popular in cold weather areas during the winter because they heat the courts.
My mom played padel in the winter all the back in the 80’s.

They also use up a ton of basketball courts. The sound of pickle ball is much more obnoxious than tennis as well. Just my two cents.

Padel has been around for awhile. Big in Spain and Argentina. Pickleball has been around since the 1960’s.
