I am newly retired. My plans were to travel heavily for several years. However, when you spend your whole life building your savings, it is very hard to reverse course and start blowing money.

3 and 9
Honestly I'd love for this to be the case. But in reality, nobody is keeping an 80 year old around, so you have to be running your own thing; and even with that you would need a succession plan if it's anything worth maintaining.

This, shouldn't need much by then so a nice condo where the outside is maintained for me.
Planning on this already once my son graduates high school as I work remote and can then start traveling more while I work and I don't need a bigger house with a yard.

Where's the play golf everyday option?

2. RV 9 out of 12 months
Plan is already put into action. House is on the market and I will be downsizing considerably. Next step is to buy an RV, most likely an Airstream.
