Some hybrid between 1 and 3, not every 2 months but 3 or 4 small trips every year and 1 big trip every 2 to 3 years (expecting roughly 20 reasonably healthy years in retirement.)

As many others have said, 1, 3 & 9 would be my way to go. But I have questions about #6. Am I only eating the jello, or will there also be some wrestling?

Combo of 1, 3, and 7, including more time on my boat and in my woods.

Also, my job could be done intermittently; I may want to work one week per month after a couple seasons of complete freedom.

I've always wanted to live and travel abroad. Perhaps sail around the globe once. But it will probably just be 8.

I think the desire to travel a lot declines for most people after a few years. My dad retired around age 60 and he did a good bit of traveling for 4-5 years. He told me he just has no desire to do it anymore at 74 and prefers to sleep in his own bed.

Sell out, move 2000 miles away and never stop climbing and snowboarding in the Pacific North West.
