And with a cough but by about an hour out of my house most of the issues seem to pass. Am I allergic to something in my own house?

It means you’re a mouth breather.

Do you have sinus problems? It could be the position you sleep in. I'm no doctor.

Heater on too high. You're probably getting dried out.

Probably just dust in your bedroom. Likely on the fan and furniture.

Dust mites playing tiddlywinks in some of their favorite haunts....nasal passages and sinus cavities. They get frisky in the early morning hours.

Several allergens could cause this. Suggestions: do not use a feather pillow, take a Claritin daily and Flonase (2 sprays per nostril) before bed nightly.

You may be allergic to dust mites. You can get tested to confirm the allergen(s) in play.

Or you have Nose Aids

Just start using nasal spray every morning like I do. Yeah it’s addictive but it’s not it’s that big of a deal being hooked on nasal spray. I can kick it if I wanted to.

Sure you can ...

Next thing you know, you will be hiding in a dark alley shooting Mexican antihistamines between your toes.
