This is a problem for most people who are relocated to Louisiana. When I was commuting to SoCal from Lake Chuck for two years, the mornings were unbearable when I was back here.

Truth is that I likely suffered from allergy problems my entire life but didn't know any different until after I was residing back here fulltime.

Sinus infections happen for me at least every other year. It has nothing to do with having a head cold or flu.

Temp of 70 or less at night helps some, not a whole lot. Eating lots of eggs every week all year long helps to. A biochemist friend tole me about what it was in eggs that did that to ward of cold, flu, allergies, etc... but I forget the name of the substance. Claritin made my pecker not function properly when I was 35, otherwise at 64 it still functions like when I was 18. I never take it unless it is an absolute must to breathe.

I changed my carpet and bought new mattress and pillow.

No more problems. Had same issue.

It could be any of the other things people mentioned (or all of them). One more to consider: acid reflux. If your head isn't elevated, that stuff backs up into your nasal passages while you sleep. Google "silent reflux." Many people have it and don't realize it. Do you clear your throat a bunch? Good sign.

dust mites could be part of the problem, but the issues pass bc your body warms up which causes your sinuses to open up. If you want to reduce the symptoms, avoid dairy products. The hormones in dairy exacerbate the problem.

The only way that your pecker works as well as it did when you were 18, and now 64 is if you are on viagra.

My penis is not always reliable at 62. When I can’t cut the mustard I just lick the jar.

And with a cough but by about an hour out of my house most of the issues seem to pass. Am I allergic to something in my own house?

Just be thankful the ye ole prostate isn’t acting up and you wake up needing to pee every two or three hours.

Lol. No.

OP, check your blood pressure first. If that’s not elevated then clean your ceiling fan, change your AC filter and vacuum/steam clean the carpet.

Avoid taking pills if you can, this isn’t fixing the issue.

Wasn’t sure if mentioned, but acid reflux can mess with your upper airways. Usually it causes cough but it can go further up.

Bruh, we're so sorry to hear. Maybe some therapy will help you actually forget all of those years your daddy's thingy worked.

Get a new pillow. They become a germ and dust fest over time. Plus its a gravity thing too.
