I mean.. the thread title is pretty descriptive. You didn't have to open it..
Ten times in 13 years? How dare they!
That didn’t go the way you thought it would...did it?

They actively patrol it, so you can't really break in anymore.

I always think of the Left4Dead 2 "dark carnival" campaign that takes place in an old abandoned amusement park called Whispering Oaks when I see this posted.

Imagine walking through there, thinking you’re alone, and then you hear someone talking. I bet that would be freaky as hell
Start of a horror movie script....

they shot some key scenes from Jurrassic World there amongst many many film projects. It is creepy as hell that's for sure and all of those buildings are very much up.

Is that the scene when Jimmy Buffett grabs his margarita and takes a sip while running away from the escaped dinosaurs?

Not sure if serious.
It was a bazillion degrees and built in the ghetto. Needed a water park addition to survive.

They spend approximately $20,000 per freaking month on 24-hour security and "maintenance" on a massive pile of $hit when they were given offers of 3.29 million to 5.5 million last year by different groups to develop different ideas. Freaking Landrieu and his group of morons rejected them all. That pile of shite has been festering for 13 years now. It's well past time to say "F it" and just sell the land. It was appraised at 3 million and the offers were over that. The area certainly has made no progress while tied to the city's care.
