Chick-fil-A might have the fastest drive through I've ever experienced. The line could be in the road and you'll be off with your food within 5-7 minutes.

Or you could just google search the demographics of the city you're in
A) tells you if machine will be down
B) tells you if you'd want to eat ice cream from that machine anyway

No need for an app. Here's a good rule of thumb
In the city (in the South) - 95% chance the ice cream machine is down at all times
In a relatively affluent suburb - 10% chance the machine is down

fast food places in random small towns are still like that, but Cane's and Chick fil A seem to do a lot better in the hiring area and in training.

At night, they are "down" because they are are pain in the butt to shut down at closing time so they clean them and shut them down early.
