So every time you open the app it just says "ice cream machine is down", right?

It's actually very time consuming and if they shut it off at closing time it's what everyone else will wait on to get off for the night.
Shut it down early, get it cleaned and back together and everyone goes home sooner.

I've had someone tell me recently that McDonald's ice cream, and one other kitchen product are packaged in almost the exact same manner, just that one is thicker than the other. The labels, too, are supposedly small. If they're not careful and/or don't read the label....they'll put the wrong stuff in the shake machine. Then, it's even worse to clean.

We all know it isn't getting cleaned every night. And what's the purpose of the workers going home anyways? Aren't they on shifts and most McDonald's at least have a drive-thru open 24 hours? All the ones here are. Do the cleaning at 3 AM.
