Peyton Manning is hilarious. If you haven't watched his Saturday Night Live United Way video, do yourself a favor LINK

Would be cool to throw with him, kinda shocked not seeing people surround him for autographs and pictures.

i never understood the hate for payton from some people

guessing its just petty jealousy

it would have been so great if he could have played for the saints and saved us from all those years of mediocrity with the likes of bobby hebert and company

to my recollection he never said a bad word about new orleans or the saints and was always polite and respectful, even to people he didnt like or those who spoke ill of him

Eli Manning: I can’t remember why I didn’t want to be a Charger
Posted by Michael David Smith on December 4, 2013, 4:37 PM EST

In the 2004 NFL draft, the Chargers selected Eli Manning first overall. Manning was a Charger for an awkward half-hour during which he reiterated what he had said before the draft — that he wouldn’t play for the Chargers — before San Diego traded him to the Giants. Now Manning is preparing to play the Chargers and the quarterback he was traded for, Philip Rivers, but Manning would prefer not to talk about the past.

Asked by reporters today why he didn’t want to play for the Chargers, Manning answered, “I forgot, I think.”

Why so much hate for Manning? I get he’s from New Orleans and went to UT, but he’s such a good guy. Hilarious guy and great person, great football player. All around an awesome dude.

Philip Rivers

NYG would have won 3-4 Rings with Rivers instead of Eli. Rivers is unquestionably the better QB, and Eli was the cause of many losses due to shite QB play vs Rivers who rarely melts down enough to lose the game for his team.

Y'all worrying about Peyton Manning and completely missed Ron White randomly riding in the Thibodaux parade.

I agree that Rivers has had a better and more consistent career. However, Eli beat the Patriots twice to win Super Bowls (including maybe the best team of all-time) while Rivers has done virtually nothing in the playoffs.

I'm an LSU and Saints fans that like the Mannings, even though I never actively rooted for Peyton or Eli's college or pro teams (and Archie was before my time).

So, Eli and and his dad strong armed San Diego and the NFL to trade him out of SD to NY and Payton stormed off the field after the SB game because it was “his time”. frick the Mannings.
