Payton stormed off the field after the SB game because it was “his time”. frick the Mannings.
no, he left upset at himself because he threw an interception that cost them the game. its understandable he wouldnt be happy about it, and did you really expect him to celebrate losing
he congratulated brees and payton and many saints players before leaving the field just like all professionals do.

would have been so great if he could have played for the saints and saved us from all those years of mediocrity
His dad had tried and it wasn’t very pretty. Maybe he didn’t want any part of that.
On the other hand he and his brother were taught well. Each have Super Bowl wins.

Yeah roll your eyes
“After the Colts lost to the Saints in Super Bowl XLIV, Manning chose not to participate in a postgame handshake with the Saints. Manning didn't shake hands with Drew Brees, Sean Payton or anyone else. Instead, Manning made a bee line for the Colts' locker room.
At the time, the media landscape was slightly different, and there weren't 10,000 blogs to write about it, so it didn't become a huge part of the post-Super Bowl conversation. However, it didn't go unnoticed either.
Several writers at the time criticized Manning for showing poor sportsmanship. You can see a YouTube video of Manning walking off the field by clicking here. ”

The Mannings are good people. Met Cooper several times. Really nice guy. People aren’t bothering Peyton at Mardi Gras because he’s from Nola and everyone knows he grew up in first street. Plus he’s enjoying it with his family.
