There's a lot of agencies paying out extra duty and overtime this week. School field trips have been cancelled. Let's do it and get it over with.

Reginald Denny's truck didn't have a phone/CB in it and he didn't have the radio on. He had no idea what he was driving in to as the riots were starting.

Former Baton Rouge metro councilman John Delgado said last week that multiple people close to the situation told him the decision would be announced on or before Tuesday, May 2. Delgado is currently a lobbyist for the Baton Rouge Union of Police and stressed that he was not speaking on behalf of that organization.

What is Delgado's TD handle?

Raise the babies and let them get as big as mama, then unleash your spider army when the verdict does come out.

Hope they postpone the announcement, bus all the black panthers back home, then announce it a few days later

Do it about 15 more times until they have either run through a lot of money or until it's the "boy who cried wolf" and they stop coming down.

They won't have to tip off the news. The Sterling family is going to get a six hour notice prior to the official announcement. It will leak with the quickness.

They didn't have anything to say about the COA scandal either.

I am thinking this could be intentional misinformation. As other posters stated, they are already paying out a shite ton of OT and having extra manpower on alert. Maybe they are trying to quell the response as much as possible.

What the OP didn't post is that no one (including sterling's family) has been contacted by the DOJ regarding a decision, and with similar past cases the family has always been contacted before.

Governor, police, sterling's family, no one has heard anything. Sounds like another false alarm. Wish they would just drop it already and move on.
