The last Pepsi Challenge they did was about 12 years ago and the results were 60%+ of people choosing Pepsi over Coke.
Coke is more of a cultural phenomenon in the south. Diet Coke tastes like dog shite, but people still buy the shite out of it, because they are used to it and people are repetitive by nature.

TBH - it looks almost as awful as their product tastes.
