Who did you sexually harass? Only reason you would have contact with HR.

HR would be one of the last positions in the world to get robots. The entire job is based on HUMAN resources. You know, emotions, job performance, etc.

Yes

But oddly enough they're not very good. I've seen studies that show that HR isn't even that good at making hiring decisions within their own department.

IS this your way of bragging that you finally got a job?

Word of advice from me, an older bloke of the OT.

Befriend 3 people in your office. The HR Dir. + HR generalist and the Desktop IT guy.

Everyone else, use your discretion. The HR/IT relationships are TOP priority.

Why are you the way that you are? I hate so much about the things that you choose to be

Those who can, do.
Those who can't, teach.
Those who can't teach, coach PE
Those who can't coach PE, work in HR.

I offhand mentioned to an HR woman at a former company that I was taking a little longer at lunch for a doctor's appointment. She reported it straight to my boss and he bitched me out for it, and made me stay late another day to make up for it.

Nevermind that I had just spent 3 straight weeks on the road for company work.

I quit shortly after that, and found out she got shitcanned after a merger when HR departments were combined. SO frick THAT BITCH.

Because they lean on metadata, and make hiring decisions from that data, not based on any real knowledge of their industry.
