People who use upward inflection on every sentence they say

I don't know why but when somebody makes statements that have upward inflection I try to ejaculate myself from the conversation as quickly as possible. I can't stand it. It sounds as if they are unsure of everything they say.

You can't complain about the way people talk and then use the phrase "ejaculate myself from the conversation."

I went to school with a guy who did this, and I don't think it was something he could control. Nobody else in his family spoke like that.

Almost as bad as women who sing at you. When your sentences have the pitch and inflections of a song....STFU. I usually answer in my best cookie monster voice.

It came to the USA from Ireland in the 1980's.
I heard it used in presentations.
In any case, it's a way to avoid being perceived as forceful and demanding.
