People who type “sending prayers” or “prayers sent” on social media

After an accident or something unfortunate...
Ex. “The police found a dead body”
Comments: omg prayers sent, sending prayers, praying, omg girl praying, etc
Does this annoy anyone else? They’re not offering any real help or assistance. Not offering to help the family or anything, just virtue signaling to get their Facebook “faith” credit. Mostly fat women do this

My family recently went through some pretty terrible stuff, so of course everyone on Facebook was sending that crap. I get that people are trying to be nice, but I personally can't stand it. It's like people send that and think "Ok. I've done my good deed for the day. All is well now."
