You miserable people of the OT can come up with anything to complain about.
"People who bend over to tie their shoes...do it while hopping on one foot and don't stop! I'm in a hurry and I'm very important!"
"People came to a message board to post about shite? How ridiculous!!!!!"

But you have to stop sometimes.....that is why the yield sign is there.

as do people who:
hit brakes when entering an interstate
people in the left lane who refuse to get over
people who cross white lines to cut off the normal flow of traffic entering or exiting the interstate.
people who rubberneck
people who hit their brakes when there is no one in front of them to slow down a little, instead of just coasting.
and people who flip out when you flash your lights on them
and lastly, people who drive with the brights on because they are too lazy to get a new bulb from autozone.

Only a retard thinks you never have to stop at a yield sign.

Really outstanding points by all sides here.

I would prefer people who stop at yield signs than the people who treat yield signs as if they dont exist......like 90% of the drivers i see at the i-10 off ramps between siegen and bluebonnet.

I always pause at a yield sign better safe then sorry. I drive like an old man.

I'm more pissed when they don't yield.

I stop at most caution lights now in New Orleans. Because you really have no clue what tge other people on the road here are gonna do.

I agree. I see people do this daily at Essen and I-10. They stop, then about break their neck trying to merge onto Essen. Even if you honk at them they are still oblivious to the fact that there is a whole empty lane right in front of them just for them. Clueless.

Well sometimes you have to yield to the point of actually stopping.

Those fricks.
They also do this now turning North from 42 to 61(airline) in Pville. They revamped this intersection a year ago and there's a big sign saying ' right on red ok' and the right lane is protected for over 100 ft on airline but they still stop.

How about people that have the right of way but yield to cars on the On Ramp? They the worst.

Funny to log onto the OT and see this topic. I got pulled over by a motorcycle cop today on a toll road in Japan for *not* treating a yield sign like a stop sign - first time getting pulled over here.
Apparently I was supposed to come to a complete stop, not just check that no traffic was coming. I don't speak any Japanese and I think that's part of why I was let off. He used hand motions to explain that I was supposed to stop all the way, and I was like "Oh, hai, hai, hai, sumimasen! (yes, yes, yes, sorry)" He checked my paperwork and then used Google translate on my phone to say: "I'm going to go now."
