A lot of the ancillary personnel at my hospital have these at their desk

I hear about people working at places with ergonomic office design choices and where people can bring their pets to work, and I've always wondered where this kind of shite takes place.

They are good for exercise. Some have attachments
that wouldn't be appropriate at work.

I've never seen that, but I've been out of an office environment since the end of 2010. Does anyone have one of those stand up extensions that are advertised on TV. Their slogan is something equating sitting in an office to smoking.

An older coworker had one of these and she swore by it. She was a very good person and beautiful for her age (58)
