Not talking about someone who lives in the country with no neighbors, i'm talking about living in a neighborhood with people all around. My question is why would you want to live in a place with no fence to give your privacy and protect your shite. I've seen people who have kids and live on a busy road with no fence. Dangerous if you ask me. Just wondering if there could be any reason no to have a fence around your backyard?

I bet there are some HOAs that don't allow it.

I really have no preference. If I'm gonna fap outside, I wouldn't care who watched me.

Everyone where I live has a fence of some sort. I can’t remember seeing yards without fences except in poor neighborhoods, perhaps.

Home in my neighborhood backs up to the bayou and has no fence, not to mention it's on a main road. Never understood that also considering they had children as well.

I grew up in a large neighborhood, 90% of the yards had no fences, made it easy to cut across the neighborhood on foot to go to a friends house, for playing baseball and football, we could use multiple yards for our fields with no fences to run into, guess it's a miracle we didn't all die.

Lol just no, fences are in the poor neighborhoods, you just don't know you are poor.

Go to the most exclusive hood in any city and there will be very few fences in sight, front or back.

Pretty much this. I live in an semi-urban environment now, but it’s one of the nicer parts of Cincinnati. Most people don’t have fences here either. The only reason people have fences is if they have a dog they keep outside.

I live in a new development on a zero lot home. I see no reason to fence my small area. Neither have my neighbors on both sides.

We had chain link fences, so it was still easy to cut across the neighborhood. But, dogs could still be confined to back yards.

A fence would obstruct my view Of the golf course.
