People who don’t tip on pick up orders

I usually tip 1-2 bucks on a pick up for putting together my order ina timely manner and asking if I need anything else.
I understand that some people don’t think it’s worthy of a tip.
I just don’t understand the people who put a zero or a zero with a line through it.
Like the to-go girl is going to add a $5 tip or something.
Or it’s like saying “f you you don’t get a tip for handing me food”
Haha just makes me laugh

Damn. We’re still beating this dead horse?

$2 is pretty much my minimum tip. I think that’s good for a to go order. Especially if it’s a place you may frequent

I’d there another thread about trashy people?

I’ve worked plenty of food service jobs and delivery where I lived on tips.
I still don’t tip on pickup, nor counter service unless they have to pour a beer for me.

Why do they deserve a tip for just handing me food that I drove to come get?

My issue with ripping on a to go order is that I have no idea if the order is correct at the time of checkout, unless they show you every container and review the order.
Curbside pick up = no tip.

This $1-$2. - I shared a ride via Uber with a colleague to the airport- he said his Uber app wouldn’t let him tip. I left the driver $10 - how embarrassing

"Your food costs this much. But give me more because I put it in a bag for you."
Nah.
Nah.

Next thing you know, fast food employees will be expecting a tip plus $15 an hour to screw up my order

If you can't tip a buck, you're too poor for takeout.
Trashy IMO.

20% except for the sonic chick that asked if I wanted my change.

If they review and show you the order....and offer you a free drink...do you tip?
Posted on 8/17/18 at 8:33 pm to The Levee
If I have to wait and they give me a drink, sure.
Why would I tip for them reviewing the order to make sure it's right?
Is that extra?

Do you tip at the McDonald’s drive thru?

New rule is to tip everybody for everything. If you don't, you're too poor for whatever it is.
