Or where are Xfinity customers supposed to be parking?
Just down the street a bit past the end of the building (or on the street). I think it's a situation where the credit union got sick of all their parking getting taken and is sending a strong message (for a few months now).

"I'm stupid, can't read, and got booted. HOW DARE THE BANK PRAY ON THE INNOCENT!!!"

Damn...a couple things
1) Those reviews exhibit the "victim culture" that exists nowadays. Despite the huge sign that says "Central Savings customer parking" and all the signs that warn you not to park there, the bank is evil because people failed to heed the warning
2) That ticket is about what I expected...$170. That's an expensive trip to Xfinity
Some guy yesterday was yelling and gesturing wildly trying to explain how the route he took into the parking lot didn't expose him to any of the roughly 13 warning signs. He still had to pay

How difficult is it to remove one of these things? Go invest in a battery operated grinder and make some side cash. Better yet, just walk up with a grinder and see how the guys doing the booting react.

Depends on the boot if it don't cover the whole wheel it's easy to take off.
If it covers the whole wheel it's harder not impossible.
There are four welds you cut and it falls off.

True disgrace of a banking institution. I was on my way to the Central Savings, for the first time when I parked in the parking lot I got out to make a quick drop off at xfinity - why not knock out two birds with one stone? Their "watch dogs" are relentless and ultimately turned me away from the bank. I was in Xfinity for 2 minutes (no longer), was on my way to the bank when a parking police officer told me I was booted for not going into the bank first. That was a shock since I was on my way to Central Savings, but based on the parking lot scam I recognized they must be in financial turmoil and brought my business elsewhere. What a joke of an institution, however it is a great side business for the bank, but a terrible business strategy as there must be other true costumers out there with similar stories to mine. I will not attempt to go to another.

I was dropping a friend off at Xfinity and accidentally parked in Central Savings lot (since this parking lot is right next to Xfinity). I saw the signs and decided to get my friend settled in at Xfinity and was going to move my car. I walked back to my car no more than 2 minutes later and had a boot on my car. By the way this was on a Sunday and the bank was CLOSED...
The guy sits in the parking lot just waiting to boot your car and then charges you, "a small fee" (his exact words) of $170 to get it off.
Clearly the only way this bank is still in business is charging innocent people for parking in their parking lot. I should have just illegally parked on the street, because a Chicago cop would have been way more understanding.
What a world we live in today...greedy/awful/horrible people that run that bank. Have some decency Central Savings.

1. Open up a booting business
2. Buy parking lots downtown near businesses. Put up 'no parking signs', small font.
3. ???
4. Profit!

Median income in 2013 was $114k. Average HHI is $130k.
Or, the top income segment on this interactive map (census tract 627) LINK

Looks like it's pretty clear where I live based on this thread

There are signs in front of Infinity saying you can park there but need to put money in some sort of parking box.
Google maps shows that there was only one sign there in July of '18, but each parking spot is clearly labeled Bank Parking Only.
You should still go loiter around. When the booters leave their Explorer unattended, you should ice pick two tires.

I am not familiar with this sign you speak of.
Also, I've kind of come around to the credit union side of things. It couldn't be more clear that you shouldn't park there, and if you want to roll the dice, go for it. But you're going to pay for it. That's their parking lot, so why should their customers never have any open spots due to all the damn xfinity people? Xfinity doesn't pay for that lot.
