Going to take a guess here but that Sentra with the spoiler for the definite need to keep traction on those back tires belongs to the dude wearing the long black denim "shorts."

Solid guess.

I’ve never been to my cable company’s office in nearly 20 years of paying for TV. What are people doing there?

And I’ve been to Chitowns condo and have have walked by this lot many times. It’s very clear that it’s CU parking only. These people know they aren’t supposed to park there. F em

It’d be one thing if the people didn’t know that they couldn’t park there.

frick em. If they’re willfully ignoring the sign, then sounds like they’re getting what they deserve

So there is a towing company the credit union has an agreement with? As in, they allow the towing company to "fish" in their parking lot, but the credit union gets a trim from the towing company for each vehicle they tow?

If so, my first thought would be "how can I get in on this?". You have some leverage, see where it gets you.

Start videoing the booting and subsequent reactions. Start an instagram account named Booted, become an influencer, and profit.

Is this something new? Are the people applying the boots staying at the parking lot? Do you see people getting unbooted and does it appear they are paying money?

I could see this as a day to get the message across to "quit parking in our parking lot."

That's my understanding. I assume it's a towing company doing the booting, and the people are settling up their tickets on the spot, the boot gets removed, and they drive away. Would also assume the credit union gets a cut of each ticket.

These guys are fast...in some cases they've already got the trunk open with boot in hand waiting for the people to turn toward Xfinity, and that boot is on the car within seconds.

Yes. They sit in a ford explorer with relatively dark windows and they're there all day. They're parked in a different spot today just out of my view.

They've been doing it almost daily for a month or so.

Yes, they should be smart enough to read signs, but frick the towing companies. They are horrible and they all need to frick off. Always warn to hurt the towing companies.

I'd open an account at that credit union if they're smart enough to make money off of fringe activities like that. Keep your mouth shut and profit.

So they're booting the cars? Not towing them? I don't think I've ever seen that before.

Im just curious. Any estimate of how many people they get a day? (estimated average).

And what do they have to pay to get them removed?

What's funny about that operation is that if that car being there was really that big of a problem they would get the car removed instead of just sticking a boot on it, which will only cause the car to be their longer since the car owner has to go through the process of getting the boot removed.
