Are we at least drinking beer here?

The other Friday I was definitely drinking beer and reporting a bit in the FBD thread on the Food and Drink Board. May do so this evening as well.

Im just curious. Any estimate of how many people they get a day? (estimated average).

And what do they have to pay to get them removed?

What's funny about that operation is that if that car being there was really that big of a problem they would get the car removed instead of just sticking a boot on it, which will only cause the car to be their longer since the car owner has to go through the process of getting the boot removed.

In the time I was out there earlier I saw them get probably 3 cars. So that would multiply out to well over 20 cars a day. I'm assuming they're charging a standard towing fee (even though it's not getting towed) which would be around $150.

Most people don't spend much time in Xfinity so it's likely quicker and more efficient for all involved to just have the people pay up on the spot and have the boot removed, and they go about their day. A couple people are just walking in to drop off their box, they're in there maybe 45 seconds, which is more than enough time for these guys to slap that thing on.

Even if it's only $50, that's at least cool grand per day. If they are only doing it M-F then they're pulling in over 20k/month. At $150, that's $60k/month. Those baws are paying for themselves quickly.

Just went down to see where they were parked. One of the guys was outside the Explorer just leaning up against the building and watching me so I didn't get him in it. Snapped this picture of 3 sad faces in the background.

Some guy saw me take it and asked if I "was taking a picture of those two guys" because he was about to get booted and told them "don't even think about it" and then ran back to his car and moved it. He said this whole thing is "unbelievable"

I kinda feel bad for the Xfinity employees because a lot of people are going back in and giving them hell.

I've heard good things about their sense of style.

I've watched cars basically do a 6 point turn nosing right up to 2 of the warning signs, and then on top of it park directly next to the "boot guys".

I wonder how many times they've heard "but I was just in there for 30 seconds!"

Bruco, by the way, Gina's dad is a big wig at that credit union. I should go get the low down from him on this program. Also, she got a boob job. Last time I saw her she was so out of it one of her (new) cans was completely out and I picked up the shoulder on her shirt and put it back in place. This was at a fundraiser for kids at the bar.

Still going out here.

They've got people waiting in line now to pay their tickets

I think the guy with the orange hat owns the Mercedes, and he is presumably on the phone with his lawyer. Went over to read the actual no parking sign (on the back of the do not enter sign, and everywhere else within 15 ft of that lot), also taking pictures of shite.

This was great. Some lady just parked right next to the guy writing the tickets and orange hat guy, saw the situation going on, continued to walk toward Xfinity, read 2 different no parking signs and still kept going toward the store. Thought better of it and said something to orange hat guy. All I heard up here was "NO!". If she was going to be dumb enough to go in after all that I wasn't going to save her.

I've got ten bucks that says orange hat mercedes guy roaches em leaving the parking lot to show his displeasure.

Does Xfinity not have it's own parking lot? Or where are Xfinity customers supposed to be parking?

Given that Xfinity is possibly the worst corporation on earth, I’d be willing to bet that the Credit Union offered them up some spots for lease but they refused to pay for it and don’t give a rip that their customers have no where to park
