People look at me like I'm some sort of alien when I holler "git" when their unleashed, uncontrolled, spoiled sappy dog jumps on me.
It happens a lot. I think dogs can sense people who don't want to be jumped.

I walked out of my hotel on the way to work just last week and stepped in a big steaming pile of dogshit. I was fricking pissed...in fact, I am still pissed about it.

first off, they are no longer considered dogs, they are "companion or comfort creatures", jesus h christ
just wait till you get tangled up with the restraint device (leash) of one while rounding an aisle at the grocery store and be accused of assault, cruelty and being insensitive by said companion's companion, my response to said companion was "well unleash the little shite from your torture device, let it explore this store while I call animal control and the health department and we'll see how long it takes them to show up and carefully take your little shite to the pound for flea treatment and charge you with cruelty to animals and violation of health codes", as said little comfort creature is dragging its arse on the floor, stratching and licking his nut sack...
to which companion's companion says "well I never...", to which I reply "me too but you can be first if you push this any further" and walk away...

I hear ya man. I was in Walmart yesterday and there was broad who had her dog riding in the cart. This wasn't a service dog either. Since when has this been allowed?

Same here. I love my dog, but I am 100% over having one. Got a dog before I had kids and it changed the whole dynamic. I'm keeping my current one until he's gone, and I'm out after that. I also spotted a wal mart bag with dog crap in it sitting on top of the transformer in my front yard this morning, which I guess is better than straight up dog shite in the yard

Dog shite was on the floor in the lobby of a New York City hotel in Time Square when we checked in. Someone had pulled a suitcase through it and smeared it.
I wish they could have taken the owner and rubbed her nose in it.
