Isn't that a main attraction at pride events?

Doesn't affect me because I don't buy ice cream.

A lot of ice cream is frozen upside down in the container to make the seal, which is why Blue Bell's lids are always hard to get off with the initial opening. If it's easy to get off, someone previously took the lid off.

Assuming that what you say is true, how do you as a consumer have any idea if a Blue Bell product has been tampered with, without actually tampering with it?!!!!!

People that get caught doing this should be forced to lick nasty spoiled pussy.

No, they should have their fricking tongues cut out publicly where all of their dumbass little friends have to watch too.

I think we should be able to punch them in the face if we catch them doing that

Am I the only one that thought this could be fake? Look at how low the ice cream is in the container...I'm not sure I've ever seen one where the ice cream wasn't at or very near the top of the container. They both stuck there faces in there several inches at least in order to lick it.

I'm not saying it isn't gross, or that they shouldn't be punished. Only saying that this particular one seems like it could be fake.

I'm glad that Blue Bell licking fad was short-lived.

Check it in the store?

Check to see if the cellophane on the lid is sealed to the ice cream. Make sure there's no spacing..

My biggest complaint about Blue Bell...not having a plastic seal on their cartons.

Pretty big corporate flaw not to remedy this after the first wave of these morons doing this nasty shite.

Stopped buying blue bell and will not until they start vacuum sealing their cartons.

Pulling the lid off is “tampering”.

Blue Bell does not even have the cellophane seal under their lid. They have nothing to deter tampering. In comparison, Breyers has the cellophane seal under the lid and a safety seal shrunk on the outside of the lid.

You don't have to worry about this as much when you don't live around people who like to do this sort of thing.
We're in a lily-white rural area with one Walmart in the county seat. I can't remember ever seeing a nonwhite person in that store.

The last time we bought ice cream there we discovered that somebody had peeled back the foil seal, stuck their fingers in it, and carefully tidied up the seal.

Figured it was somebody's bored kid.

Fortunately we hate Walmart and don't buy much ice cream.

We do not have a safety seal on any of our ice cream at this time, however the lids are vacuum sealed onto the container. Why doesn’t Breyers ice cream have a seal? There are many ice cream products on the market that are sold without a safety seal.

How will I know that my ice cream is safe to eat without the plastic band?
All of our manufacturing and packaging operations are conducted in accordance with Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requirements. In addition, all products are inspected throughout the manufacturing and filling processes to ensure they reach consumers safely, and in optimal condition.

There are many ice cream products on the market that are sold without a safety seal. As part of Unilever’s Sustainable Living Plan, Breyers has committed to remove non-recyclable plastic bands from our Gelato Indulgences products to reduce waste.

Absolutely not true of their Breyers ice cream tubs sold in the US. I just removed a safety seal from one yesterday. It’s clear with a blueish tint that comes from optical brightener added to the film for detection of the safety seal being applied on their packaging line.
