I always thought Pee Wee was funny and was a good entertainer.
I never even gave a shite about his legal trouble.
I will miss that weird little dude. One of the few original acts in show business.

Can 100 percent validate this happened. I lived in Sarasota when this happened at worked for ABC news. They had a copy of the arrest report. The porn theater was in a fairly good part of town but you couldn't really find any bad parts in Sarasota. I ran into him once and said Hi. He was a dick.

I watched Pee Wee's Big Adventure yesterday morning as it was on LAFF OTA channel. definitely a weird dude, but i always enjoyed his shows. I watched Pee Wee's playhouse all the time as a kid on saturday mornings.

My favorite scene of his is in Cheech & Chong's 'Next Movie'. where he's sucking down rails under the table in the restaurant, and calling the police on Cheech's cousin and Chong and telling the cops "I think they're Iranians" , which lights a fire under the previously disinterested police.
