Then I don't know what you're arguing about.

Look, I know you want to use the women's bathroom, so just let this guy be a child. Geez.

This hasn't been the transgender argument though. It isn't about physical traits. Gender is not a "physical" thing. The physical side is your "sex". The argument is basically what they feel they are. If they feel they are a woman, even if they are physically a man, then the left's argument is that they are able to identify as female.

Here, he feels like he is 9 years old, even though he is physically 38. By the same argument, he should be able to identify as a 9 year old.

The guy is a POS, but the box has been opened for this to be an argument.

transgender man identifying as a woman doesn't have this right. What are we even debating at this point

That it is not a valid defense, even using the trans logic, because of the brain development idea behind it.

A trans person does not argue that they are losing brain capacity.

He is basically pleading insanity, and that rarely works, and even if it does, they end up in mental institution for the rest of their lives.

no, it would be the same argument if said argument was that identifying as a transgender allows you to commit crimes you otherwise wouldn't have if you were the other gender.

You just manufactured that one. He could easily claim suspended adolescence.

Nobody is saying it allows him to commit the crime.

Come to think of it, a transgendered man identifying as a woman probably isn't owning any businesses anyway.

This guy isn't saying he feels like he has the mental capacity of a kid, he's saying he legitimately feels like he's a 9 year old. He's not pleading insanity as far as I can tell.

Exactly. Zero people are saying he should get off based on this.

jesus

that's entirely the point. That this guy can't be classified as a sex offender or a child molester because he identifies as the same age as the child.

That's the "can of worms" so to speak.

if you say you feel like a 9 year old, then you are saying you feel like you have the brain of a 9 year old

that example went right over your head

Are you familiar with suspended adolescence? Of course he can claim his mind is that of a 9 year old

The entire point of this guy claiming this, and the ensuing debates afterwards, are 100% based on how this crime should be treated. Otherwise, what are we even debating.

The argument is that he should be tried as a minor basically.

Actually, they do.....

Just looked it up

So, how does this man not have a right to be viewed as a 9 year old by the law?

ETA: Trans women are seen as women for pretty much everything. They get to put Female on their dirvers license now, which allows them womens grants, putting woman on govt health insurance, etc etc

can you even charge a 9 year old for sexual assault? I mean honestly. I've certainly never heard of such a case. I'm sure it has happened.

That is very different than arguing he can now commit a crime because of this.

No shite. Probably why this thread was started and the transgender stuff brought up. The can of worms was already opened when it started being allowed people to do things/have access to things based on what they feel they are.
