He was arrested. He also resigned from MPD.
If you live in River Oaks Subdivision and train at a gym there, you know who he is. I know him from there and trained jits at a school with several of his co-workers with MPD.

I used to see him all the time training at said gym when I moved back to Monroe for my brief stint back home last year. He seemed like a good dude on the surface. He likes to shoot and since I do as well, we always talked about rifles and such. I know he had some previous issues with MPD about his employment.

I hope you are smart enough to see how that is not a similar scenario at all. No (sane) person would have a problem tackling him as he was running or a K9 taking him down as he is fleeing. The problem is the cop running up and kicking him like he is trying to make a 65 yard field goal as he is laying cuffed on the ground.
So maybe he did escalate it by resisting and running, but it was de-escalated by time his head got treated like a football.
If we just hold bad cops who do dumb, fricked up shite responsible instead of always "backing the blue" this country would see a lot of problems go away.
