How far do you want JBE to go to keep you safe?
its about the pastor not respecting his community that he proclaims to love. Just total disregard for sensibility. Taking advantage of the faithful .

And about the senselessness of it all. It's one of those things that can wait.

Think about the risk they take each time they get in their car and drive to church. There is risks in driving down the highways. Lives are put in danger each time.

The difference is the perceived risks involved in having and/or going to church. Is it more than going to Walmart or Lowes? Is it more than driving down the highway. Many believe that it is not. That the numbers are being cooked by the media to generate the fear that we see today. The fear that you feel that causes you to be angry at the pastor for putting you and your family at church.

When they shut down everything and I mean everything. When police are wearing the safety suits, when the president, governors, and mayors are not having press conferences with many people that can infect each other, then I will believe that they believe it is dangerous.

Guess you could also die too if like, at a sporting event you tripped and began to fall down the stairs and instead of reaching for hands, you just grasp for straws at their drinks

I support his RIGHT to do what he is doing.

That is something many people have forgotten in all of this. Rights. Even when it is unpopular. In fact that is why they need protecting because at times they will be unpopular.

I completely agree. This isn't a religious issue for me. This is about our Rights being suppressed.

It's disappointing how many "Americans" in this thread are ok with the government taking away their rights. We've turned into sheep.

You clearly are unable to grasp this whole thing, so it's pointless wasting time on it. You're the guy who will avoid a mandatory evacuation order ahead of a massive hurricane and then want others (government employees even!) to risk their lives to come save your dumb arse...BUT MUH RIGHTS!!

Pretty much the exact opposite. I'm the one that leaves before the mandatory evacuation comes out because it is my duty to protect my family not the government's.

You misunderstood me completely. I don't like what the pastor is doing at all. I think it's reckless and really shitty of him to put his congregation at risk like that.

But the government is not allowed by the Constitution to mandate he can not have service, period. It's cut and dry.

This is where the statists get all worked up. They don't realize you can be a great citizen, protect your family and still be concerned about the direction this overreach is going.

Said it the other day, and it needs repeating

this entire ordeal has exposed so many fraudulent, so called "freedom loving Republicans". there are so many of them who have completely bent the knee and are living in complete fear over this.

you expect this type of behavior from all of the liberal scum around here, but LOL at some of you so called "small government" people who still think this is all about "Safety"

it's pathetic. there is a large percentage of these so called "small government / freedom loving" Republicans, Libertarians, and Independents who would gladly turn in their firearms tomorrow if a press conference was held saying that by doing so will help flatten the curve

Exactly.

I’m not a Church goer, I’m not fond of religious organizations, but frick the feds and their ability to control people’s livelihood.

This is not what the founding fathers wanted

Also...claims he will do whatever he needs to to keep his family safe, supports himself and others doing things that endangers his family
