It isn't necessarily hypocrisy. Pastors have a hard time. We sin like everyone else, and those who teach love and forgiveness know sin. Know it very well. Having been intimate with it in the past, or even currently. Just because one is qualified to teach something, and fully believes it, doesn't mean they have the self control to consistently live it. We try, we try our hardest, but living it every day is incredibly difficult.
Which in fact, leads to those who teach a truer version of Christ's message. Love. Grace. Forgiveness.

His son is one of my very good friends.
Gutted for his entire family. It's been a real painful 3 weeks but fortunately things are coming back to normal.
Everyone makes mistakes, just sucks that his ended up costing him his life. I feel for his wife and kids.

I'm a former pastor and youth pastor. To think that pastors don't struggle with the same issues every other man struggles with is to deny reality. We live in a world that is changing rapidly from one where virtues and family values were the norm, to where they are seen as perversions.

It is very easy to judge someone when their sins are exposed, the OT does that very well.

His hypocrisy seems to be his ability to extend forgiveness to others without being able to extend it to himself.
