I’m hearing they removed the shoring from the lower floors and stacked it in 15 to fly down. Weight on the edge of the building caused the collapse.

That’s not a crane that’s falling. That’s the buck hoist. Bunch of guys just went down for 9:00 break

Likely for everyone but a shoring, demolition, and forensics engineering crew.

Not really. There’s probably at least a few deaths if they were actively working on it


ETA: not sure why the DV’s. There’s clearly a dude who was on scaffolding that got wiped out

Maybe mentioned. I think that tower that fell is the materials elevator structure. It smacked the building across the street pretty good also.

4th floor from the top in the yellow area. Guy definitely got wiped out.

They stacked heavy material on the edge of the building for the crane to lower to the street.
