She got extremely sick because she didn’t have the simple vaccine….
Measles for most won’t be deadly. But once you get it there isn’t a magic bullet. It’s a virus. You treat the symptoms. For the unlucky few it will kill them.
If you think it’s as simple as she just needed some vitamin A there really is no point continuing with you

"Why didn't the doctors do magic and save the child after a preventable disease had progressed to the point she had fatal complications?!"

Just some simple vitamin A man

My other favorite new thing is “well they didn’t die from the actual virus, they got extremely sick and then died from something else”
Umm, that’s kinda how a virus works. It doesn’t shoot you in the head. It wears your body down and then you are susceptible to secondary infections, organ failure, etc

FIFY
nah just sit and wait at home to see how you fare.

I don’t understand the opposition to traditional vaccines which are just injecting you with a weakened form of the virus. It has the exact same effect on the body that the father in the article talks about only without the suffering and potential death

Death cults are like that.

Measles being reintroduced to the US followed other allowed waves of illegals by a Dem President as well as a lot of 3rd world refugees who in some cases were allowed to get vaccinations after arrival due to large numbers shipped in by Obama along with some using religious exemptions which shouldn’t be allowed for non-citizens coming in under a refugee program. They can stay in their piece of shite countries they helped create. Biden’s illegal problem was much worse
Holy gaslighting.
Measles vaccine is included in the first batch of vaccines GLOBALLY. So unless you think all these illegals were born in barns on bails of hay, you're wrong. Latin America has high vaccination rates, in general.
And if your argument is that these "dirty" illegals are risks because they aren't vaccinated, what the frick is your defense for Americans not getting vaccinated?

Well, they’re not wrong. Are they?
If God has a divine plan for everybody, when it’s your time to go what’s your time to go.

if it's god's will for a kid to die of measles then he is a pretty scummy god

"They recently appeared in an interview with antivaccine nonprofit Children’s Health Defense to talk about their daughter’s death."

Just because you don't know what causes "individual cancers" doesn't mean that no one does.

Well at a basic level, if God exists and is all powerful, then either this is in his will or he just doesn't care about anything that happens to us. Pick your faith poison in all of that.
God also gave man free will. God created the universe, he created us and everything around us. He gave us a path to salvation if we choose to take it. He gave us intelligence and the resources on earth to unlock secrets of the Universe, modern medicine being one of those.
Nowhere in scripture that I can recall does it say God micro manages everything on earth. He did not cause that girls death nor did He intervene to stop it. Her parents made a choice not to utilize modern medicine and her death was a consequence of that choice.
Pain and death are the punishment for sin going all the way back to the beginning when man disobeyed God. I would argue the decision by the parents to not utilize life saving medicine on their daughter was sinful in nature since it ultimately and unnecessarily caused her death.

Set aside your feelings on vaccination, what was done after the child developed measles? Did the family wait too long to actually go to see medical help or not?

quote:Which doctors said this? According to ChatGPT:
including cod liver oil and vitamin A, which doctors say have no effect on measles.
quote:For added details on this case - below is an assessment by a doctor who reviewed the hospital records.
The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends vitamin A supplementation for children diagnosed with measles, particularly in areas where vitamin A deficiency is common. The vitamin helps to strengthen the immune system, supports the repair of damaged tissues, and can reduce the risk of complications such as pneumonia and diarrhea, which are common in measles infections.

Also the stats I’m seeing basically say all the measles cases are from unvaccinated and “unknown”. That should be 2 separate categories otherwise people could say they were just covering for vaccine failures by classifying as unknown.

Was prescribed fever reducing medication. 100% in line with protocol
Child’s breathing became labored, so the family brought the child to hospital. Child progressed worse, needed to be intubated, and then body developed secondary infections and she died
I know people don’t want to hear this but measles will kill people. Always had and always will

That’s another factor in all of this. These folks basically want to live a much simpler life. Does that mean they could be more susceptible to a disease like measles? Does that mean they are much less susceptible to other things that currently plague our society? Probably so. The old I get, the more I start to realize that people like these folks and the Amish are on to something.
