I am amazed at the number of parents that spend $60,000 on travel ball and private lessons hoping their kid gets a $5,000 athletic scholarship

I’m not defending exhorbitant costs for little league, but I don’t think most of those parents think they’ll get a monetary benefit.
Personally I would love to see my son play high-level baseball if that’s what he wanted to do and was capable of, and it wouldn’t matter whether he was getting paid to do it.

women's golf ftw, lots of hs girls turn down scholarships because the higher you move up the pyramid in girl's sports, the more dikes, and pressure to convert them to carpet munchers
The reason I said tennis and not golf, is specifically because you can still have a good percentage of your daughter being feminine.....

That is awesome, you have your daughter in jits. I have been training for over 10 years now and work with our kids at our school. Love to see the younger ones on the mat building that foundation.

On a more related note, my daughter is real big into golf. I don't push it, just take her to the course with me from time to time, give her tons of encouragement, and she gets lessons from our pro. She is actually quite good for a 9 year old. I am crossing my fingers she sticks with it because I see some potential.

IDGAF about scholarships, but winning a couple of high school state championships in soccer and a couple in football would be pretty cool for him. Playing on a regional soccer team would be pretty cool as well.

Tennis girls aren't what they used to be. It's dominated by dykes now. I messed around with a girl on the UT tennis team. She came to a couple of formals with me. Smoking hot. Probably the best body I've ever been with. She came out as a lesbian 2 years later. All the girls on that team fooled around with each other.

ETA: she was getting dominated by a bull dyke while we were hanging out. Bull hated me

While I agree with you that there needs to be balance, full-ride athletic scholarships are probably easier to get than the academic ones.

I don’t know of anyone below a 3.8-4.0 or so that got a full academic scholarship (outside of tops).

That's not what was going on at UT.

You only get to the top of the collegiate world now as a women if you have more testosterone than your counterparts. There's a lot of lesbo action going on bro.

I'd bet 6 of those 10 are/have been in lesbo relationships

It’s comical how people think just bc their kid is above average if they do alllllllll these lessons their kid with get a scholarship. 98% of the time it’s genetics......did the parents play at the next level, or are they big/strong/fast. If you’re under 5’10 and can’t run it’s not happening.
