What happens if he identifies as a transgender doctor ?

mean a medic is nowhere close to being a doctor. It’s very easy to figure out someone is NOT a doctor.
Not that easy. You can bluff and “big word” your way through a lot of shite. If another doc runs across you and asks you pointed questions? You’re caught. But just a run of the mill conversation? Even medical conversation he could bluff his way through. The real doctor would walk away thinking “what a fricking idiot. He’s never seeing me or my family!” But that’s a far leap from calling a guys credentials into question.
It would take security and a Medical Director or Nursing Director, somebody in admin. To ask for his proof of licensure and a DEA or NPI number.

Meh.
If he's a chameleon and halfway intelligent, I can see it progressing.
Put me in any setting for 50-80 hours a week for a few years and I'd be indistinguishable from those around me and purposely sitting in the number two spot.

Probably did better in the ER treating people than the real doctors.
The doctors are good but way over worked and over burdened with shite heads. Way too many drug addicts and idiots that need to be at a GP not an ER. It’s not the doctors’ faults that the ER is being used as the primary care for Medicaid people and first line of treatment for drug addicts

Absolutely. And if he was doing what he’s accused of here, then the doctors never directly interacted with him in a business sense. He would be paramedic, triage and bring the patient in, leave notes and potentially transfer the patient in the system, maybe give notes to the ER doc. But he wouldn’t be providing serious medical opinions other than high level triage and some diagnosis. The only time he would come into question would be if he provided a bad triage opinion or diagnosis. And doctors probably ignored the majority of his notes bc he’s a paramedic anyway
Though how and why he was prescribing medications is crazy. I have a hard time believing he did much more than prescribing for people he knows personally. Idk how he could get passed off as the only source of care otherwise and diagnose patients

If he’s really smart and been through medic school and I assume critical care training to be on a helicopter he could probably BS his way enough to where most didn’t notice. Possibly maybe he failed out of medical school in the past? My past life I was a medic but was very simple in my medical speak, other medics laughed at my verbal reports, I didn’t care.

Being Indian probably helped him. Im not being umm. I guess racist or anything like that, its the truth. Its probably the easiest race or nationality to be to pretend to be a doctor.

Holy shite This may actually sink the whole fricking company.
Not even close. This'll be a much larger issue for OLOL, but neither organization is going to sink over it.

Would this qualify as a whistle blower- if CMS was billed someone may be getting a nice payout for being a rat.

The original commenter was remarking on that stupid recent study of European ERs in countries without emergency medicine residencies which showed doctors sometimes misdiagnosed patients. In no setting do you have less information and less time to figure out what to do with that info than the ER. If you look at the miss rate for inpatient and clinic settings they are equal to that of the ER, which means these doctors were actually doing pretty well.

Possibly.
The only way this will have serious repercussions is if UFK gets the story to a major news outlet that is not one of the big three. Acadian owns LA, so none of our outlets will touch this story unless they’re forced.
