So a person can't use a word to describe what someone else said because of his race?

I'm pretty sure this isn't what equal rights was all about..

Really a sad time we living in.

He was on a conference call to avoid PR blunders.

And said PR firm is the sole cause of this PR blunder.

Can I morph into being a dog? I don’t want to be a human anymore. It’s too much for me today

We have a group of people offended for someone using a word in a historical context, and we have what I think as smart humans blaming that person for using a word in a historical context to his own PR firm, meanwhile the offended group uses the word in negative connotation daily

According to slacker, the only way to not be an idiot is actually listening to the idiotic demands of people he thinks are idiots

Nah, there will be people who see no problem with his comments, and there will be people who call for boycotts. The majority will hear it and think, "well, that was a dumb thing to say", which is true.

You already admitted it wasn't something you'd advise him to say. It was a dumb thing to say before he said it. Saying it aloud doesn't change that, even if we agree the people who will go crazy are idiots.

I remember being on a conference call not too long ago and we were discussing ways to help reduce humidity in a non-climate controlled warehouse.

We mentioned Big arse Fan (the company who makes those huge fans that are ceiling mounted) and some retard on the call took offense to saying Big arse Fan the 2nd time. Dude had no idea it was a company and was getting all butthurt because we had 1-2 females on the CC.

If you think Papa John is a racist because of the statement in the OP, you are a fricking moron.

I cant wait to hear his logic

Either one finds offense with the word itself, meaning any use of the word offends them. So they wouldnt want anyone using it whether it be blacks or whites in any circumnstance

or

One finds offense with the connoation of the word. Meaning they arent offended when used certain ways, only when the word is used in an offensive manner

or

One is a illogical hypocrite that changes their stance when they want to

Most people fall in bucket 3 from what I can see

If you think what he said was racist, you're unsalvageable as a productive member of society
