Now, it’s different for sure. And kids make everything difficult. It’s really easy to get into a rut with young kids.
And it’s not consistent. We both work, we’re both busy, and there are times where it gets difficult to make time for it.
But overall in my experience, we’re pretty regular in that department and really always have been. In fact, we might go more now after almost 20 years together than we did when we were younger.

14 years in with a young child, so yea pretty much the end. It’s kids and responsibilities that get you. I mostly just want to sleep now if I have feee time.

I don't see how decades of "married sex" with the same woman wouldn't be boring and monotonous.
How can you have hot/passionate sex with a woman that you've already had sex with 10,000 times ?
Even if you're still having sex in marriage it's just going through the motions, it can't be exciting.
Would be like eating the same meal every night for the rest of your life and getting excited about it.

I've been married and divorced twice. For ex number one, it's mostly true but.... sex didn't stop until we had a child. Then it was very infrequent.
Met ex number two in my 40s and she wanted to have sex every single day. There is such a thing as too much sex. Especially in your late 40s. I would ask for Sunday's and wednesdays off to get a break and she'd be mad as hell and pout.

It does slow when kids are young. Once they aren’t so small and she gets a break from that, it picks back up. Late 40’s and it’s 4x a week. The dudes not getting any are unattractive and can’t turn on the woman they should know the best.

I’m 48 and my wife is 45. Married 3 years now and I can barely keep up lol. I live on vitamins and water. If anything it’s gotten better over the years.
