Authorities say 56-year-old Judith Permar of Mount Carmel, Pa., died on Sunday after she got her arm caught in a clothing donation drop-off box.

Mount Carmel Police Chief Brian Hollenbush told Phillynews.com, "She was fishing bags out and the ladder she was standing on gave way, and she couldn't get her hand loose."

The news website reported, "She was apparently removing bags from the container, and she was left dangling with her feet off the ground."

"Bags with clothes and shoes that had been pulled from the bin were on the ground. Permar's black Hummer was nearby with the engine still running."

She gave the most valuable thing she could possibly give, her own life. We should look to this brave woman as an example.

Obviously no one reads the article quote. She was taking stuff from the bin, not giving.

How do they know that she wasn't putting the clothes into the bin. Maybe she was just using a ladder and sticking her arm in there to put the donations in more gently.

Wait, she's stealing donations from a drop box but yet she drives a Hummer. Classic.

So she was stealing, got her arm stuck, and died of hypothermia?

But what caused her death? Just dangling with an arm in there with your feet off the ground wouldn't do it. Did it cut her arm off?

that's why it's called a drop off box not a take out box
