Got any studies on that?
In one of the most notable trials, participants who took Ozempic lost an average of about 15% of their body weight over 68 weeks, compared to about 2.4% in the placebo group that only followed diet and exercise recommendations.
Baloney. What you’ve shown is that Ozempic is more effective than RECOMMENDING diet and exercise. However, there is plenty to show that those who actually diet and exercise do just as well as with Ozempic.
My dad used to say something that is the final word on this: No one ever gained weight in a lifeboat.

So does creatine
Hmmm, intredasting.
A quick goo-goo search brings ups some fascinating research with creatine & Alzheimer's.
quote:
There is a growing body of literature on the neurobehavioral and physiological effects of creatine supplementation. Given that memory (defined as the ability to process and retain information) is energetically demanding and dependent on intact mitochondrial respiratory function, and considering that creatine is a key regulator of energy status, elevation of creatine levels in the brain may enhance memory by altering brain bioenergetics.
quote:
Elderly study participants (68–85 years) who received creatine supplementation (20 g/d for 7 days) showed significant improvements in measures of memory (forward number recall, backward and forward spatial recall, and long-term memory) compared with those who received placebo.

As usual, the OT never fails in bringing us a good show & entertainment with 'fatties' always being thrown into the discussion.
Anywho. Hopefully research can find an effective treatment and/or a cure for Alzheimer's disease soon.

So fricking sick of these GLP 1 agonists being touted as the cure for everything. I have a feeling this indiscriminate use of them is going to backfire someway.

Unpopular take: The gov't should put Ozempic and Adderall in our water supply. IKIK, sounds Hitler-esque, but too many fatties with no motivation.
Of course we'd have to bail out the snack food industry, but damn our healthcare system can't keep allowing free will in society but try to cap costs.

For anyone overweight, I’m not even taking obese, if you can’t drop 15% of body weight in 68 weeks, you are the problem. The drug is not fixing the underlying problem

Not sure you could be more wrong.
Really? 15% of body weight over 68 weeks cannot be accomplished by diet and exercise? I’d love to hear this explanation

As usual the OT doesn’t disappoint.
Ozempic could instantly cure cancer and the insecure losers on here would shite on it to look cool.

Anyone that needs, ozempik is fat, and lazy even if, they aren’t fat yet. No one should be allowed to live, fat, even if they can’t remember. 96 hour, water, fasting is so easy.
If your typing is any indication, you've maybe completed a few too many of those 96 hour fasts. You should probably fuel up a bit.

New research points to a higher sex drive for women that take it.

Lol. I even debated putting a little sarcasm tag. I think you're right.
