it's at a restaurant with a stranger/non-relative. I'm not going to laugh when the kids drops a five pound baby shite where I'm eating.

But this guy triggered all kinds of vegans, then in the comments, the feminists got worked up, and those who advocate for the Downs Syndrome folks.

I have already said it is clearly inappropriate. That comment, clearly and unequivocally in context, is in response to people jumping at the opportunity to cry pedophilia. This happening is annoying in the way that you just received bad and unprofessional service. It is not some sexual assault to sensibilities. And I'll say it again, if you think it is then you have something wrong with you.

We have a overzealous vegan in our neighborhood who is very active on the Nextdoor app.
At the beginning of the summer, a proud mother posted a picture of their young child (maybe 5-6) who had caught a decent fish at the lake inside the neighborhood. The vegan comes in and spouts off about how horrible this is and "how would we like it if he killed one of our animals and held it up like that?"
The comments starting going after this guy, and the mother just didn't want any of it so she deleted it.
Fast forward a couple weeks later and someone is complaining about something and he writes in the comments "I feel the same way about walking outside and having to smell the smell of dead flesh on grills." The neighborhood went off on him.
Vegans are a strange bunch.
