Which of these four companies is most likely to fail?

My brother had to write a paper for his mba program about a book called "The Four". The four is about the four companies Amazon Google Apple and Facebook. The paper was about which of these 4 companies is most likely to fail. He wrote it in February and wisely chose Facebook. Facebook seems like the obvious answer so let's switch Facebook with Microsoft.

Apple. They don't have the enterprise business of MSFT and they're losing the edge they had when Jobs was running things.

Microsoft survives on enterprise sales.

Amazon isn't going anywhere unless Jeff Bezos is found to be a kid-fricker or something (company would still survive).

Google will have more longevity than any of the other 3. Their data alone is worth trillions. Only harsh government regulations could slow them down.

That's tough. Even if online retail radically changed, Amazon would still have AWS

Apple generates the most revenue off of hardware I'm guessing, which perhaps is the easiest thing to break away from (in theory?)

Apple was born out of a game changing consumer innovation and will die at the hands of someone else's game changing consumer innovation. As stated, the others are more diversified.

Apple. They have the least amount of innovation of all 4 and focus the most on easily replaceable hardware

I feel like Apple’s downfall will be their refusal to play well with others. Company’s like Amazon try to be compatible with as many others as possible. I think that bodes well for their future.

You guys realize that Apple is worth about 25% more than the other 3 right? They certainly don't do just hardware. Its funny everyone always says Apple hasn't had a big innovation in years, yet what has microsoft done? I'm not a Apple fan boy, but their products work and work very well.

And the moment they slip? The moment when Samsung, Microsoft, Samsung, or Google reach the same level of hardware reliability at a much more reasonable price?

Apple. iPhone makes up too much of its sales and profitability.
