Tons of cheap flashlights that promise 100+ lumens but you'll only get that if you get the high output batteries. You can get 3.7 v output AAs in either rechargeable or disposable. Spend your money on the battery, not the flashlight.

Agreed, we use the Pelian SuperSaber 2000 at work and out of about 100 in use for the last ten years, the only one that I have heard of an issue with had discharged batteries left in it which corroded.
the light is very bright and is explosion proof, water proof, and shock proof. very high quality light that should pretty much last a lifetime.
