I wish TigerDroppings existed in 1995.

That would have been one hell of a thread.

Hell no TD would have gotten to the bottom of it. Somebody on here would have the glove. Someone would have the knife used.

I had just switched from an all white private school to a public school for the 11th & 12 grade. Some of the black kids were dancing on the tables in the cafeteria. I was thinking wtf is going on?

Man I remember thinking just how obviously guilty he was, that was when I learned I was a racist.

He's still looking for the real killer, check his twitter.

He thinks the clues are in fantasy football and golf

I remember the sounds of joy/victory that came from the circle in front of Broussard Hall when that happened.

I remember bringing my Walkman to school and listening to it during Chemistry class.

I brought my Gameboy headphones (because they were small and I could wire them down my sleeve and into my hand, then rest my head on my hand and listen perfectly). I was giving everyone in class a play by play, and I remember saying "Not guilty" and everyone freaking the frick out as quietly as possible. Teacher never had a clue.

Ah, good times...

A certain demographic was very pleased in Pentagon Cafeteria. So much so they felt the need to jump on top of the tables to celebrate.

My friends wife taught at Delmont Elementary in North Batoj Rouge at the time. Remember to this day her coming home that night and recounting how they were all in class when the principal came over the intercom school aide and announced the verdict with joy and thanking God, etc. They then played music over the intercom and all the black teachers and most of the students started dancing in the halls. She said she would have gotten in her car and left but she was legit scared to go out in the hallway. So she sat at her desk the rest of the afternoon during basic chaos.

Makes me angry how badly the prosecution botched the whole thing.

I imagine that being like the scene from The Office where Michael is in the conference room and the DVD player’s screensaver is going around the screen and they’re reacting to how close it gets to hitting directly in the corner. Michael thinks he’s giving a great presentation the whole time

On SNL that weekend Norm Macdonald did five minutes of OJ jokes, then said this, in his matter-of-fact tone of voice and with an incredulous semi-smirk on his face:

"After the OJ Simpson acquittal verdict was announced, Washington DC mayor Marion Berry urged both white Americans and black Americans... To help get him some crack."

I still don't understand that mentality. It's fascinating.
