Exactly, pretty much what I'm seeing. Just asking why from the people who are taking them.

They are too insecure to lift without a pre-workout.

I despise beta alinine, I just can't get used to it. I don't mind getting fricked up, lord knows I put other altering substances in my body, it just feels too "weird" being tingly all over and trying to lift. I've never gotten used to it even in the smallest doses. I don't see how people can take scoops of the stuff and still function.

Waking up at 4 a.m. to go to the gym is pretty much the only time I've noticed a difference with a pre-workout. I'm no Greek God or anything, but I've started going to the gym seriously over the last two months. I tried to take a pre-workout to see if it could kick my workouts up a notch. Doesn't really do anything other than make you jittery the first 2 or 3 times you take it. Otherwise, it's just a caffine pick-me-up in the morning. Don't touch it if I workout in the afternoon.

meh, to each his own.

I workout within 30 minutes of getting out of bed, so it's nice to have a little pick me up. And I realize coffee does that too, so I end up switching back and forth between the 2.

And my "pre workout" isn't to get frickin JACKED UP, in fact I don't even really feel anything different from it. But it has a lot of protein in it plus a little caffeine so it works fine for what I want. I wouldn't call it a waste.

Why not just scramble an egg and drink a cup of coffee for 1/8 the price?

I workout before eating anything. I prefer fasted workouts (if that's what you want to call it) because supposedly, and I'm obviously no expert, it helps burn fat that way.

After I workout I drink a protein shake, then shower, then eat a good full breakfast.

Used this video. Already ordered the supps. Should be like $15 per 30 servings.

I'm not sure about the pre-work out mix but the guy in that video gave me the serious douche chills. What a fig.

too insecure to lift without one? WTF?

I take mine before leaving my office and it gives me the kick in the arse to get into the gym every day and get a good workout in. That's all I ask of it and it does the job.

Bullnox is my go to pre. Better than any other I've tried. No tingling, just endurance and focus.

I didn't know they made pre workouts without caffeine. I drink a monster rehab tea mixed with creatine. Not a lot of caffeine but enough to help out.
