Well what are those? I've honestly never heard of a caffeine free pre. I mean what would that do for you?

edit: apparently NO Xplode has a caffeine free product LINK

Maybe he is sensitive to caffeine? Maybe he works out late at night? Maybe he wants his muscles to get a good pump with feeling like he is going to bounce off the walls?

I take green tea with Beta-alanine and citrulline malate mixed in.

I love the tingle feeling and think I have good endurance from it but who knows.

This should help you more than this board: Bodybuilding.com preworkout supplements without caffeine

Yeah I get that he doesn't want the caffeine for whatever reason, just don't understand where he's going to get the extra energy he needs because that's the point, right? I mean I'd be all for it if there was a good one out there. Does the beta alanine give you the needed boost?

It just sounds like wasted money, but I don't know.

There are plenty of other ingredients in supps that give you a boost.

I've thought about doing my own concoction

After reading ingredients of many of the highly rated ones, its seems they have energy boosters similar to caffeine, such as taurine, or creatine. That is why I made my own concoction, which I love.

Exactly, pretty much what I'm seeing. Just asking why from the people who are taking them.

It works for me. Feels like little nano-bots are crawling on my face and I sweat like a beast.

Oh yeah, I put creatine in mine as well.

Think I'm just going to mix creatine, beta alinine, l-arginine, and l-citrulline together with some gatorade or kool aid mix

Should also be wayyy cheaper than buying pre workouts

Used this video. Already ordered the supps. Should be like $15 per 30 servings.

Caffeine pills have 225 mg per pill... Doesn't seem like that much to me.

I'm in the same boat - I hit the gym after work and try not to use too much pre stuff due to the caffeine content. Kinda hard to get out of the gym and in bed just an hour or two after. If I'm feeling really rough I use a half scoop of ON Pre, but usually i just go in without. Even the Amino Acid supplements are loaded with caffeine.
