So your know florida has a reciprocity agreement? Or did you assume?

Statute says reciprocity agreement must be in place to receive credit.

Yes, I and I'm not aware of a state that doesn't allow credit against tax paid.

Im not saying it doesn't exist, because it may, but I've researched sales tax in quite literally every state that has one.

Either way, you're moving the goalposts from it doesn't matter to it depends on the state and reciprocity

Not at all.

I simply made the assumption that they do not.

Why?

I have never received out of state tax credit when transferring side by sides titled in SD or Idaho back to Louisiana.

I was right about the dealer situation, I was possibly wrong about tax credit across state lines.

That remains to be seen.

Honestly if Mingo is right about that, I may hang myself.

Misplaced modifier and erroneous use of the possessive notwithstanding, I love that you actually think that this “honor” is laudable.

Straight from the South Dakota DOR

quote:

If you have titled and licensed your vehicles in another state, you will be granted reciprocity when you come to South Dakota and will not have to pay any additional tax if your state’s tax rate is above South Dakota’s 4% tax rate.

As much as I love to bust balls, if actually top performing his KIA spiff card would likely see 6 figures in spiffs a year.

Not a bad gig if pay trumps all. Buddy of mine is a GM for kia, he makes more than me. By a lot.

Your intellect seems to be that of a cashier so that's not surprising

I assume your little arms were tuckered out from holding up your phone. Punctuation was a burden too taxing for your meager form.

Apparently some here don’t believe in following the rules.

Congrats? It's no longer an option in Louisiana as of September of last year. I don't specifically remember the statute, but if a dealership sells a vehicle they risk their dealer license if they release without titling it to an in-state customer.

Man, I'm going to need more info on this. News to me. Not doubting you just can't find anything.
