She said that I wasn’t close enough with her father (she wanted me to be best friends with her dad)

On top of that, I’ve had to question whether I trusted her or not (she might’ve met Jody a time or two)

what should I do? Should I fight for her?
Absolutely not

Not reading other replies but here is the truth.
There is someone else. She is using her Dad as transference. Let her go and find another. There really isn't anything you have to do but play the high ground: "I apologise for not living up to your or your father's expectations, best of luck to you both on your future endeavors."

Hell no.
To me, "fighting for" a woman means doing what you have to do to be with and support her when she wants you too. It does not mean desperately trying to hang on to a woman you don't fully trust, you think may have cheated on you, and who won't go against her daddy for you even though she's an adult.
frick that. Let her go and move on.

Any chance you are a Democrat and her dad is a Republican?

Run as fast as you can away and be thankful you got out before marriage.

Honestly, her dad would likely have no opinion on you at all unless she had been talking shite about you to him. If she is, in fact, talking shite and also slobbing on ole Jody's Johnson, I would have to say that you should at least shut it down for a time. If you go and get all needy and desperate, it will be over for sure.
Play it cool for a while and see what happens.

How rich is her dad? It might be worth taking him on as a bff.
