OP, she’s doing you a favor by dumping you. Could you imagine being connected to that piece of crap FIL for the rest of your life? Constant meddling by the FIL would ensue and your privacy would be compromised.
The girls father is one of those controlling freaks that dictates and lives their life through their kids. Imagine if you would’ve knocked this girl up? You’re life would instantaneously turn to shite because the girls father can’t seem to let her go. Be glad that she’s gone, she may even be fricking someone else on the side, move on, and find a girl that is mature enough to see that they must live their life without their fricking parents hovering over them and doesn’t have daddy issues.

This. The dad is a scapegoat. If she really thought you were right for her, she'd find a way to make it work. She wants out, probably for a number of reasons.
