I believe for the the Louisiana public school system to force kids to take a vaccine it has to pass the state legislature first. LA public schools can only recommend until the legislature designates the COVID vaccine as mandatory.

Correct. You brought up that point. I rattled off 20-25 name brand colleges that have already stated they will require the vaccine by next Fall.

Yes. And you seemingly ignored the ones that have already said they won't require it, which further leads to my assumption that there will be plenty of HS and primary districts that will follow suit, especially in the South and Midwest.

I’ll make an assumption in that more names will be added to that list than the “won’t require COVID19 vaccine” list between now and August.

Well there are 5,300 colleges in the US. You said 100 have said they will require vaccines. I'll assume your assumption is wrong

Just like your assumption that all will be required to be vaccinated come this fall

makes stupid sweeping statement. then wants to play semantics with my post. typical Salmon.

because that had nothing to do with my original assumption. it was follow-up data to the incorrect assumption you made.

i bet your that guy at a house party that runs to the bathroom to google statistics to prove how smart you are.

...what stupid sweeping statement did I make? do you think I said all colleges were not requiring the vaccines or something?

it was follow-up data to the incorrect assumption you made.

...what was my incorrect assumption?

...says the guy that immediately ran to Google to tell me how many colleges were requiring the vaccination

...you were being modest?

there was a story from my local ABC News station in Houston on this exact topic on the 5AM & 6AM telecasts. But sure baw.

Anywhoo...i've got a meeting in 10 minutes and need coffee. you bore me and i'm too lazy to respond to all of your silly arse responses.

if it gives you the ego boost you require: you win this argument of assumptions. +1 Internet points for Salmon today.

It’s why stuff still gets played up. Can’t continue to use and extend the EUA without an emergency.

To give to the population that is at least vulnerability to the virus.

You know the future consequences of this vaccine? Please explain, since it's apparent you are educated on this. Please confirm to all of us that children taking this will suffer no side effects, developmental or otherwise, in the coming years.

First of all, that isn't what you said. You said "unknown vaccine". It is known. We know it exists, how it was made, how many people it was tested on, and now 100s of millions of people have had it and we know the short term effects of it.

I have no idea what future consequences there could be, nor could anyone, but based on our long history with MRNA vaccines, there's no reason to suspect that there would be any.

Do you have any concrete data which would give any indication that there would be any long term concerns? At all?

Is there any room to think the vaccines are likely perfectly fine, but will not be getting it based on the odds?

I am not in an at-risk group and everyone I know who is has gotten vaccinated.

I reserve the right to get it later if I choose.

It strange to me that the OT is more concerned with the long term effects of a vacccine than they are with the virus it is being used against

The virus isn’t hitting the kids (thankfully), not sure why they need to be used as lab rats.

What’s the problem with someone who wants to pump the breaks on this vaccine? 14 months ago we were all going as normal, then they shut us all down, and now they’re pumping this vaccine at an insane publicity stunt like nothing I’ve ever seen. And they did it to get mean ole Trump out.

This would make sense if the United States was the only country impacted. Since that is far from the case, your comment sounds ignorant.

If this "virus" is all about the fear of death, why are you all not afraid of the experimental "meds" they're shooting into people who then DIE from it?
